Fulcrum Rural Solutions is a new endeavor led by long-time regional activist and rural leader Pete Kolbenschlag, using a curated team of experts drawn from a deep and established network of professionals as needed, to tailor services.
Pete is based in the North Fork Valley where he continues to work at the intersection of community resilience, environmental protection, and rural opportunity through this and other endeavors.

Our Grounding
Rural communities don't need fixing from the outside or to be directed by external forces. They need to be invited as leaders for input and to cultivate conditions where their wisdom and existing assets can be leveraged for greater impact and purposeful outcomes.
The most effective strategies often emerge not from trying to control complex systems, but from understanding these dynamics and patterns and using those forces to shape further action.
We work with nonprofits, community organizations, and mission-driven businesses always with the understanding that sustainable change happens through collaboration not consultation. Rates structured to support transformative work across all organizational contexts.
We support as members the Rural Coalition, Club 20, the North Fork Valley Chamber of Commerce, the North Fork Creative Coalition and the Valley Organic Growers Association.
